10 Years Old Whiskeys

Bushmills

Renowned for its smoothness and honey like sweetness, this Irish whiskey is aged in two kinds of casks — bourbon and sherry. As a result, its creamy, light and crisp with milder hints of pepper and spice. This is one of those drams where a drop or two of water is recommended, with another popular combination being to serve it with ginger ale.

Benromach

Founded in 1898 and reopened by Prince Charles in 2004, this distillery has a storied history. Its 10-year malt is balanced, thanks to being matured in bourbon and sherry casks before spending its final year in Oloroso sherry casks. When you sip it, you’ll taste charred oak, fruitiness and just the hint of nuttiness for a unique, well-balanced pour.

Ardbeg

An assertive Islay single malt, this is a cult favourite of those that like strong, smokiness. Under distillery manager Micky Heads, Ardbeg’s innovative yearly releases are ones to look out for and beg travellers to carry down to India. But luckily, for whisky neophytes and peated malt lovers, the 10 year aged is available in the country and offers hints of vanilla, salt and caramel.

Glenmorangie

An exceptional single malt scotch whisky hailing from the Glenmorangie Highland distillery in North Scotland, this one is an absolute value for money. It’s a mature spirit capable of delighting even the most demanding of whisky enthusiasts, that’s soft, mellow and immensely creamy to taste. It carries pleasant spicy notes, and the medium-bodied whisky is clean and well-balanced. At this price, it stands undefeated as a must-mention under the top 10 whisky brands in India.

Brimming with subtle red fruit flavours after being aged in American oak casks that previously contained port, Talisker 10 boasts of a sweet and peat palate with hints of rocky flavours. It’s a complex whisky that frequently gets pitted under the best whisky brands in India, owing to its intricate aromas and complex notes, as well as the warming, citrusy and peppery finish. It’s one of those highly revered single malt whiskies you have to absolutely try as a whisky enthusiast!

Kilchoman

This is the first ten year old release we have done from the distillery that is available worldwide and there will be approximately 920 bottles of this Fifth Edition Club Release, exclusively available to Club members. Lurking at the back of the north warehouse were two casks from our first full year of production in 2006, one first fill oloroso sherry butt and one fresh bourbon barrel.
